Today, Jon took Elijah to the hospital at 7:30 am to drink some stuff and get an xray. We (me and the other 4 boys) met him in the xray department at 9:30. They did continued to do an xray every 30 until the medicine had reached his large intestines. Jon left for a 10:00 appointment at work and we waited. After we got there (he had already had several) he had an xray at 9:50, and then at 10:20 and finally at 10:50 they took an xray that was what they wanted. They did several more xrays and we were on our way to our 11:30 dentist appointments. We arrive at our dentist appointments at 11:40. All 4 big boys went back to get their check ups. Except for one cavity (in Jonah's mouth--our first cavity in anyone since Jon and I got married), everyones check-ups went great.
At 1:30 we got home. I must say that I am tired and the boys are crabby and on edge. It is raining outside, so they are attempting to play "nicely" in the basement, but things don't always go as planned.
Tomorrow will be another day of chaos. We will all spend the morning at Elijah's GI appointment where he will have to have blood drawn and a check up. Then we will probably go one block down the street to the allergy doctor and get Elijah's shots. We will get home in time to have lunch and then I will take Jonah to a Special Ed teacher who will be doing some tutoring to help him with his learning disability.
Hopefully we will be able to relax by Thursday. Where is that summer "break" that we keep talking about?
